Charles Huang is the founder of the Circular Taiwan Network, leading efforts to accelerate Taiwan’s transition toward a circular economy and build a net-zero, resilient future for the next generation. Internationally, he serves on the Circular Economy Solutions Dialogue of the Global Solutions Initiative (GSI), providing policy advice to the G20. In Taiwan, Charles has long championed systemic change. As former Chairman of Taiwan Sugar Corporation, he advanced the vision that “investing in the circular economy is investing in Taiwan’s future.” He also convenes the Association of Food Waste Compost Promotion, fostering circular agriculture by transforming organic waste into fertilizers and bio-energy. Earlier in his career, he was Chairman and CEO of TSRC Corporation and continues to advise multiple enterprises on sustainability and strategy. Charles also holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
