Joseph Chen is a pioneer in the field of the circular economy, dedicated to transforming traditional linear models into sustainable, circular ones. He firmly believes that a good business model should not only create value but also have a positive impact on the environment.
In 2022, in collaboration with IKEA, Shun Kang launched a "PaaS" office furniture leasing service in the Taipei metropolitan area. This innovative product-as-a-service model extends the lifecycle of furniture and significantly reduces resource waste.
In October 2024, he founded the Shun Kang ESG.STYLE brand and its "Furniture Circular Consignment Platform" service. This platform successfully connects consignors of idle furniture with consumers in need, while also providing repair services. This ensures furniture can be continuously reused, preventing it from being discarded. The service allows consumers to acquire quality furniture at affordable prices and helps people embrace a sustainable, circular lifestyle.
His goal is to make a sustainable lifestyle not just a slogan, but a practical action that everyone can easily incorporate into their daily lives. He hopes that today's sharing will inspire all of you.
