Chairman of Atunas Co., Ltd., former Chairman of the Textile Research and Development Association International and circular economy alliance for the textile industry. Cheng Kun has long championed ESG practices and green transformation in the industry. In 2023, he established Taiwan’s first “Outdoor Textile Circular Ecosystem” and launched the “All Love Eco-Circular Shirt”, made from 20% post-consumer textiles or fabric scraps and 80% recycled PET bottles (rPET), including trims, crafted into mono-polyester performance garments. In 2025, Atunas advanced the concept by using recycled materials for every component—labels, zippers, buttons, and sewing threads—to create a fully recyclable lightweight jacket. The garment requires no disassembly or sorting and can be directly recycled into new apparel, earning the GRS certification label. This achievement sets a pioneering example for circular economy innovation.
