Prof. Jui-Che Tu earned a College Degree in Industrial Design (Furniture Design) from National Taipei University of Science and Technology in 1978, and later received a B.A. in Forestry (Wood Science) in 1986, an M.A. in Industrial Education in 1989, and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Technological Education (Design Education) in 1991, from the University of Tennessee, U.S.A. He is now the Distinguished Professor in the Department of Creative Design at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His work in industrial product design, green design, lifestyle design, cultural and creative design and design education has resulted in numerous publications, presentations, lectures, and courses; memberships in professional societies such as the Chinese Institute of Design (CID); and honors including the Taiwan Excellent Teacher Award in 2024.
