As Country Director for India at Pyxera Global, Rajesh Varghese leads efforts in inclusive circular economy solutions, skills-based volunteering, and community-owned cooperative models. With over ten years in social impact, sustainability, and development, Rajesh excels at designing and scaling programs with entrepreneurs and communities in the waste and climate sectors. He was instrumental in launching PRIDE (Pragjyotishpur Recycling Initiative for Development & Environment), Northeast India's first member-owned waste cooperative. His work focuses on integrating environmental resilience, ethical technology, and equitable economic participation. Rajesh has partnered with over 100 nonprofits, recognizing their power to drive systemic change, and has worked with diverse populations across India and South East Asia. Previously, Rajesh was Chief Transformation Officer at South Central Community Family Service Center and Country Director for Ashoka, both in Singapore. He brings a deep understanding of grassroots ecosystems, public-private collaboration, and impact-driven innovation, committed to building models that foster collaborative action in circular supply chains.
