Dr. Lin-Yi Tsai has served as Director-General of the Climate Change Agency of the Ministry of Environment since 2023. Over the past five years, she has promoted the legislation of the Climate Change Response Act and related regulations, the net-zero transition path, and Taiwan's carbon pricing mechanism. This year, the carbon fee system was implemented, officially marking the beginning of a carbon price system in Taiwan, which is expected to drive carbon reduction efforts. She is also currently conducting climate governance and social communication regarding the National periodic regulatory goals and reduction plans, and promoting climate change adaptation-related work.
