Dr. Chun-Hsu Lin is a Research Fellow and the Director of the Center for Green Economy (CGE) at the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) in Taipei, Taiwan. Before joining CIER in 2005, Dr. Lin served as an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Environment and Resources in Taipei. Dr. Lin's recent and ongoing research focuses on resource recycling systems, soil and water pollution abatement, green trade, green industry development, and the circular economy. From 2011 to 2016, he also held the position of Secretary-General of the Green Trade Project Office under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, where he played a key role in promoting the international trade and exchange of green products and services. Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences from Washington State University, U.S.A., in 2001. He is dedicated to fostering dialogue and collaboration among governments, industries, and academia—both domestically and internationally—in pursuit of a sustainable global society.
