Dr. Fanny Liao obtained her Ph.D. degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has worked in Far Eastern Group for more than 27 years in various fields including petrochemical/specialty chemicals, technology licensing, joint venture management, biotechnology venture capital investments, brewery, PET recycling, medical devices and M&A. She is currently leading more than 150-people RD team in Taiwan, China and US for PET/polyester, medical device and new materials. Under her leadership, the RD team had created records as 5 world first products of PET/polyester products. She is also the President of Oriental Resources Development and the board directors of Air Liquide Far Eastern, Eminent Venture Capital Fund, Bockhold B.V. and Bockimmo B.V.
