My name is Pan Guang-yueh, and my expertise lies in agricultural machinery research, development, and repair, as well as hydraulic control system integration and configuration and automatic control. I currently work at Kaohsiung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, Ministry of Agricultural, responsible for the research, development, and optimization of agricultural machinery. Four years ago, I began developing machinery for the integrated mechanized harvesting of pineapple waste resources (pineapple leaves and stems). Currently, we have developed machines such as a pineapple plant harvester, a pineapple plant stem and leaf separator, a pineapple leaf fiber extractor, and a pineapple stem slicer. The introduction of mechanized operations into the industry will improve efficiency, reduce production costs, and mitigate the risk of occupational hazards.
