With the rise of decommissioned wind and solar power equipment and growing dependence on critical raw materials, countries face dual challenges: ensuring stable material supply and managing end-of-life energy products. This forum explores circular design for energy products and recycling of critical materials from EV batteries, focusing on improving dismantlability and material recovery through better design and material choices. Leveraging Taiwan’s experience in renewable energy and high-tech industries, we aim to foster global dialogue and accelerate the transition to fully circular energy systems.
