Chih‑HaoCHEN
Distinguished colleagues, my research focuses on the efficient reuse of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), with the overarching goal of enhancing sustainability and material circularity in road engineering. My work encompasses multiple areas of pavement recycling and material innovation, including the formulation and performance optimization of asphalt rejuvenators, the improvement of asphalt–aggregate separation processes, the design and implementation of long-life recyclable pavement structures, and the development of novel micro-surfacing emulsion materials. Through these efforts, I aim to increase the recycling rate of asphalt materials, reduce dependence on natural aggregates and virgin asphalt, extend pavement service life, and lower both maintenance costs and lifecycle environmental impacts. These outcomes align with global initiatives for circular economy and low-carbon infrastructure, providing practical and scalable solutions for sustainable road construction. I look forward to engaging with fellow researchers and industry professionals at this forum, sharing findings, exchanging perspectives, and exploring opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration to further advance the innovation and sustainability of pavement engineering technologies.
